Thank you for your brilliance Cracking the Enigma Code Playing such a vital role Your story must be told Your Stirling work at Bletchley Park Shining light into the dark Your genius was at the heart Of bringing the end to war What did he do this brilliant mind? Falling in love Was seen as a crime I don’t like the irony There’s no justice I can see Now you’re at the mercy of a Queen And we’re breaking the code Breaking the code of love We’re Breaking the code Breaking the code of Breaking the code of Breaking the code of love The powers of the Government Shouldn’t be selective And if you pardon one of us You should pardon the collective Chemical castration Is the way they tried to cure your love They spied on you They hounded you They said you were defective What did he do this brilliant mind? Falling in love Was seen as a crime Thank you Dr. Turing for being there for fellow men Now you’re at the mercy of a Queen And we’re breaking the code Breaking the code of love We’re Breaking the code Breaking the code of Breaking the code of Breaking the code of love Suicide by cyanide Suicide and cyanide Suicide by cyanide Suicide and cyanide Suicide by cyanide Suicide and cyanide Suicide by cyanide Suicide and cyanide

about

This Human Condition’s single from their debut album ‘Project Zero’ is set to a dark, twisting and introspective atmosphere with Erasure-esque soundscapes. Written on the day Alan Turing received a posthumous royal pardon, ‘Breaking The Code’ is a tribute to the enigma code breaker. The release features two contrasting remixes from Sauerwelt and LPF.
